مؤلف ممثل ومخرج مغربي ولد يوم 5 نوفمبر 1942 في بمكناس، حصل على شهادة الإجازة في الفلسفة من كلية الآداب بالرباط. وتخرج من معهد الدراسات السينمائية العليا بباريس، عمل بناني رئيسا لمصلحة العلاقات الخارجية بالإذاعة والتلفزة المغربية من سنة 1968 إلى سنة 1970، ثم أسس مع الراحل الكبير أحمد البوعناني، والسينمائي المخضرم والمجرب محمد عبد الرحمن التازي ومحمد السقاط شركة الإنتاج (سيكما 3)، كما سبق تنصيب حميد بناني رئيسا للغرفة المغربية لمنتجي الأفلام . أخرج السينمائي حميد بناني العديد من الأفلام القصيرة والوثائقية والطويلة، السينمائية منها والتلفزية ففي صنف الأفلام القصيرة، وقع على أفلام: « الخادمات »، »القلب إلى القلب » سنة 1967، و »ولادة نجم »، و »العائلة المغربية ». وفي مجال الأفلام السينمائية الطويلة ، اخرج حميد بناني فيلم » وشمة » سنة 1970 ، « صلاة الغائب » سنة 1993 ، « الطفل الشيخ » سنة 2010 هذا الأخير الذي تناول فيه فترة الحماية وهو ملحمة تؤرخ لفترة مهمة من تاريخ المغرب، كما جاء على لسان مخرجه. وله من الأفلام التلفزية الكثير، نذكر منها على سبيل المثال لا الحصر: « الواد »، « السراب »، « خريف الأحلام »، « وهم في المرآة »، « الضيف »، « الحلم الصغير » ، « النور في قلبي » واللائحة طويلة…
AN : Filmmaker born November 5, 1942 in Meknes. In 1958, he benefited from a drama training course and a creation and writing workshop organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. In 1964, he obtained a degree in philosophy from the Faculty of Letters in Rabat. The same year, he began studying cinema at IDHEC in Paris, from which he graduated in “Directing, production and management” section. Alongside his studies, he attended seminars led by philosophers; Roland Barthes and Paul Riceur. In 1968, he joined the RTM where he served as head of the External Relations Department. He resigned from RTM and founded, in 1970, the production company “SIGMA 3” in collaboration with Ahmed Bouanani, Mohamed Abderrahman Tazi and Mohamed Sekkat. The same year, he collaborated with the magazine “CINEMA 3” founded by the critic Noureddine Sail. In 1987, he founded and directed the International Festival « Ciné-Jeunesse » in Rabat which lasted only four years. The same year, he founded his production company: “Lumières de la ville”. He had the opportunity to work for television, for which he directed television films and serials including « La rivière » (1995), « Le mirage » (1998) and « OULAD LAGHIAL » (1999), and other productions.

En 1964, il obtient une licence en philosophie de la Faculté des Lettres de Rabat. La même année, il entreprend des études de cinéma à l’IDHEC à Paris, dont il sort lauréat, section » Réalisation, production et régie « . Parallèlement à ses études, il suit les séminaires animés par les philosophes; Roland Barthes et Paul Riceur . En 1968, il intègre la RTM où il assure la fonction de chef du Service des relations extèrieurs. Il démissionne de la RTM et fonde, en 1970, la société de production » SIGMA 3 » en collaboration avec Ahmed Bouanani, Mohamed Abderrahman Tazi et Mohamed Sekkat. La même année, il collabore à la revue » CINEMA 3 » fondée par le critique Noureddine Sail. En 1987, il fonde et dirige le Festival International » Ciné-Jeunesse » à Rabat qui ne dura que quatre ans. La même année, il fonde sa société de production : » Lumières de la ville « . Il eut l’occasion de travailler pour la télévision, pour laquelle il réalise des téléfilms et feuilletons dont » La rivière » (1995), » Le mirage » (1998) et » OULAD LAGHIAL » (1999) , et d’autres réalisations.
