Synopsis :
Sophia, jeune photographe passionnée de Tanger, voit son univers bouleversé lorsqu’elle apprend que sa mère française, supposée décédée, est en réalité bien vivante et réside en France. Poussée par la quête de ses origines, Sophia entreprend un périlleux voyage au cœur de l’Europe, déterminée à dévoiler les secrets de sa famille enfouis dans l’ombre.

Biographie du réalisateur :
Née à Rabat, Layla Triki obtient un diplôme en scénographie, puis se forme en réalisation à la FEMIS à Paris et à Berlin et Leipzig. Depuis 2001, elle réalise et produit des fictions et documentaires pour la télévision, ainsi que plusieurs courts métrages pour le cinéma primés internationalement, tels que Chapelet, Sang d’encre et Coule la rivière. Sa rencontre avec Abbas Kiarostami et Martin Scorsese en 2005 a marqué sa carrière. Elle collabore avec le réalisateur égyptien Ahmed Nour et produit le documentaire Waves primé à Alexandrie. Depuis 2015, elle est directrice artistique et réalisatrice sur plusieurs séries documentaires et fictions, et enseigne depuis 8 ans à l’Institut Supérieur d’Art Dramatique et d’Animation culturelle et récemment à l’Acting Institute. Son long métrage Empreintes du Vent / Carved by the Wind est à ses dernières phases de post-production.

Synopsis:
Sophia, a young passionate photographer from Tangier, discovers that her French mother, believed to be deceased, is actually alive and living in France. Driven by the quest for her origins, Sophia embarks on a perilous journey through Europe, determined to uncover her family’s long-buried secrets.

Director Biography:
Born in Rabat, Layla Triki earned a degree in scenography and trained in directing at FEMIS in Paris, then in Berlin and Leipzig. Since 2001, she has produced TV dramas and documentaries, as well as award-winning short films like Chapelet, Sang d’encre, and Coule la rivière. Her encounter with Abbas Kiarostami and Martin Scorsese in 2005 was a turning point in her career. She collaborated with Egyptian director Ahmed Nour on the documentary Waves, awarded in Alexandria. Since 2015, she has worked as artistic director and director on several documentary and fiction series and has been teaching for 8 years at the Institut Supérieur d’Art Dramatique et d’Animation culturelle and, more recently, at the Acting Institute. Her feature film Carved by the Wind is now in the final post-production stages.

ولدت ليلى التريكي في الرباط وحصلت على شهادة في التصميم المسرحي، ثم تدربت في الإخراج في FEMIS بباريس، ثم في برلين ولايبزيغ. منذ 2001، أخرجت وأنتجت أعمالًا تلفزيونية وسينمائية حائزة على جوائز مثل Chapelet، Sang d’encre وCoule la rivière. كانت لقاؤها مع عباس كيارستمي ومارتن سكورسيزي في 2005 نقطة تحول في مسيرتها. تعاونت مع المخرج المصري أحمد نور في إنتاج الوثائقي Waves الحائز على جوائز. منذ 2015، تعمل كمخرجة فنية ومخرجة على عدة مسلسلات وثائقية وروائية، وتدرس منذ 8 سنوات في المعهد العالي للفن الدرامي والأنشطة الثقافية ومؤخرًا في Acting Institute. فيلمها الطويل بصمات الرياح في المراحل الأخيرة من مرحلة ما بعد الإنتاج
