Irena Jelić est née et a grandi à Zagreb, en Croatie, en 1977. Titulaire de diplômes en Histoire de l’Art et en langue espagnole, elle a d’abord construit sa carrière dans des agences de marketing en tant que rédactrice et directrice créative. Depuis quinze ans, elle se consacre entièrement au cinéma. Elle a conçu et mis en œuvre plus de 100 campagnes pour des films croates et étrangers, allant du niveau national au niveau des Oscars, ainsi que pour les multiplexes Blitz-CineStar et les chaînes CineStar TV. Depuis 2017, elle travaille pour le Centre Audiovisuel Croate (HAVC), où elle est responsable du département Festivals et Promotion et représente la Croatie au sein de l’European Film Promotion.

Irena Jelić was born and raised in Zagreb, Croatia, in 1977. She holds degrees in Art History and Spanish language. She began her career in marketing agencies as a copywriter and creative director and has, for the past fifteen years, focused on the film industry. She has designed and executed over 100 campaigns for Croatian and international films, ranging from national releases to Oscar-level projects, as well as for Blitz-CineStar multiplex cinemas and CineStar TV channels. Since 2017, she has been working for the Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HAVC) as the Head of the Department of Festivals and Promotion and serves as the Croatian representative in the European Film Promotion.
