SYNOPSIS :
Farid, an elderly gravedigger living in solitude with only his dog, finds himself trapped in a repetitive cycle. Yet, Farid’s past traumas persist, waiting to resurface. One day, after learning shocking news about an unusual death, these traumas emerge, plunging Farid into a kind of quiet madness and driving him to kill his dog.
Director Biography – Christine Abou Zein
Christine Abou Zein was born on December 21, 2003, in Niha El Shouf, Lebanon. She completed her high school education at Collège Saint Charbel Jieh, graduating with a diploma in Life Sciences. Her passion for cinema guided her academic path towards the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts (ALBA), where her journey into filmmaking began.
Driven by her profound interests in literature and philosophy, Christine integrates various art forms into her films, drawing inspiration from her Lebanese heritage and culture. She aspires to pursue a career as a director and cinematographer, aiming to make a meaningful impact in the world of cinema.

Synopsis :
Farid, un vieux fossoyeur vivant seul avec son chien, est prisonnier d’une routine répétitive. Pourtant, ses traumatismes passés refont surface, tapis dans l’ombre. Un jour, après avoir appris une nouvelle choquante concernant une mort inhabituelle, ces blessures ressurgissent, plongeant Farid dans une forme de folie silencieuse qui le pousse à tuer son chien.

Christine Abou Zein est née le 21 décembre 2003 à Niha El Shouf, au Liban. Elle a terminé ses études secondaires au Collège Saint Charbel Jieh, où elle a obtenu un diplôme en sciences de la vie. Sa passion pour le cinéma l’a conduite à intégrer l’Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts (ALBA), marquant le début de son parcours dans la réalisation.

الملخص
فريد، حفّار قبور مسن يعيش في عزلة مع كلبه فقط، يجد نفسه عالقًا في روتين متكرر. غير أن صدماته الماضية ما زالت كامنة، تنتظر أن تعود إلى السطح. وفي يوم من الأيام، وبعد سماعه خبراً صادماً عن وفاة غير اعتيادية، تعود تلك الصدمات لتطفو، فتغرق فريد في جنون صامت يدفعه إلى قتل كلبه

وُلدت كريستين أبو زين في 21 ديسمبر 2003 في نيحا الشوف، لبنان. أنهت دراستها الثانوية في كلية سان شاربل جيه، حيث حصلت على دبلوم في علوم الحياة. وقد قادها شغفها بالسينما إلى الالتحاق بالأكاديمية اللبنانية للفنون الجميلة (الألبا)، لتبدأ رحلتها في عالم الإخراج السينمائي
مدفوعة بشغفها العميق بالأدب والفلسفة، تمزج كريستين بين أشكال فنية متعددة في أفلامها، مستلهمة من إرثها وثقافتها اللبنانية. وهي تطمح إلى متابعة مسيرتها كمخرجة ومديرة تصوير، بهدف ترك أثر مؤثر في عالم السينما
