SYNOPSIS :

My name is Chakib. I was abandoned at the age of one month and lived for eight years in an orphanage in Rabat. Now I live my life day by day, but the time has come to reconnect with my childhood, to find feelings, people, places buried in my memories.

Director Biography – Chakib Moreau

My name is Chakib, I was born and abandoned in Rabat at the age of 1 month, I grew up in the Lalla Meriem orphanage in Rabat for 8 years, until I met my adoptive family. I then moved to Marrakech with my adoptive father, with whom I grew up for the rest of my life, I studied at the Moroccan school for primary school, then the French school for middle and high school, and finally at the ESAV film school.

Synopsis (Français)

Je m’appelle Chakib. J’ai été abandonné à l’âge d’un mois et j’ai vécu pendant huit ans dans un orphelinat à Rabat. Aujourd’hui, je vis ma vie au jour le jour, mais le moment est venu de renouer avec mon enfance, de retrouver des sentiments, des personnes et des lieux enfouis dans mes souvenirs.

Biographie du réalisateur (Français)

Je m’appelle Chakib. Je suis né et j’ai été abandonné à Rabat à l’âge d’un mois. J’ai grandi pendant 8 ans à l’orphelinat Lalla Meriem à Rabat, jusqu’à rencontrer ma famille adoptive. Ensuite, je me suis installé à Marrakech avec mon père adoptif, avec qui j’ai grandi pour le reste de ma vie. J’ai étudié à l’école primaire marocaine, puis à l’école française pour le collège et le lycée, et enfin à l’école de cinéma ESAV.

اسمي شكيب. وُلدت وتُركت في الرباط عندما كنت في عمر شهر واحد. نشأت لمدة 8 سنوات في دار الأيتام للا مريم في الرباط، حتى التقيت بأسرتي بالتبني. ثم انتقلت إلى مراكش مع والدي بالتبني، حيث نشأت لبقية حياتي. درست في المدرسة الابتدائية المغربية، ثم المدرسة الفرنسية للمتوسط والثانوي، وأخيرًا في مدرسة السينما ESAV
