SYNOPSIS :
A charismatic young boy who lives on a rubbish dump in Zimbabwe must convince a reclusive boxing coach to teach him to fight to find safety and strength in a world that has left him behind.
Director Biography – Jessica J. Rowlands
Jessica is an award-winning Screenwriter and first time Film Director raised between the UK and Zimbabwe. After completing two Law degrees with a focus on International Human Rights, Jessica moved to Los Angeles to pursue her passion for writing and became the first person to win the UCLA Screenwriting Award two years in a row, in both the feature and TV categories.
Jessica is a largely self-taught director, drawn to coming-of-age stories with a strong emotional core and a rich visual style.

Synopsis :

Biographie de la réalisatrice – Jessica J. Rowlands :
Jessica est une scénariste primée et réalisatrice pour la première fois, ayant grandi entre le Royaume-Uni et le Zimbabwe. Après avoir obtenu deux diplômes en droit avec une spécialisation en droits humains internationaux, Jessica s’installe à Los Angeles pour poursuivre sa passion pour l’écriture et devient la première personne à remporter deux années consécutives le UCLA Screenwriting Award, dans les catégories long-métrage et télévision.
Jessica est en grande partie autodidacte en tant que réalisatrice et est attirée par les histoires de passage à l’âge adulte avec un fort noyau émotionnel et un style visuel riche.
