SYNOPSIS :
In war-devastated Gaza, Aloosh, Alaa Meqdad, is a short-statured, disabled clown fighting to reclaim his purpose as the « Joy Maker. » Living in a tent with his family after their home in the Shati refugee camp is destroyed, he struggles daily for food, water, and survival. Yet through bombed streets and shattered spirits, he continues to perform for children, determined to bring light to the darkness. As war closes in, Aloosh clings to laughter and art amid unimaginable hardship.
Director Biography – Abdulrahman Sabbah
Abdulrahman Sabbah, a resident of Gaza, has dreamed of becoming a film director since his childhood. However, due to the absence of film institutes in Gaza, he chose to study journalism and media. He currently works in the media field with local TV stations in Gaza. He has participated in several training courses in screenwriting and film directing and has produced a number of documentary programs.

Synopsis :
À Gaza, dévastée par la guerre, Aloosh, Alaa Meqdad, est un clown de petite taille et handicapé qui lutte pour retrouver son rôle de « Faiseur de Joie ». Vivant dans une tente avec sa famille après la destruction de leur maison dans le camp de réfugiés de Shati, il se bat chaque jour pour la nourriture, l’eau et la survie. Pourtant, à travers les rues bombardées et les esprits brisés, il continue de se produire pour les enfants, déterminé à apporter de la lumière dans l’obscurité. Alors que la guerre se rapproche, Aloosh s’accroche au rire et à l’art au milieu d’épreuves inimaginables.
Biographie du réalisateur :
Abdulrahman Sabbah, résident de Gaza, rêve de devenir réalisateur depuis son enfance. En raison de l’absence d’instituts de cinéma à Gaza, il a choisi d’étudier le journalisme et les médias. Il travaille actuellement dans le domaine des médias avec des chaînes de télévision locales à Gaza. Il a participé à plusieurs formations en scénarisation et réalisation de films et a produit un certain nombre de programmes documentaires.
