SYNOPSIS :
February 27, 1993, Strpci, Bosnia and Herzegovina. A passenger train from Belgrade to Bar is stopped by paramilitary forces in an ethnic cleansing operation. As they haul off innocent civilians, only one man out of 500 passengers dares to stand up to them. This is the true story of a man who could not remain silent.
Director Biography – Nebojša Slijepčević
Nebojša Slijepčević was born in 1973 in Zagreb, Croatia. He graduated in Film Directing from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. His documentary feature Srbenka (2018) was shortlisted for European Film Awards and won numerous awards at international film festivals, among them the Heart of Sarajevo Award as well as the Audience Award at the Sarajevo Film Festival, and a special mention of the Buyens-Chagoll jury at Visions du Réel 2018. His feature documentary Gangster of Love (2013) won the Audience Award at Zagreb Dox and premiered internationally at Hot Docs and Karlovy Vary. It was one of the biggest box office hits in Croatia. Nebojša directed numerous TV documentaries, series, and short films. He teaches at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb.

Biographie du réalisateur – Nebojša Slijepčević
Nebojša Slijepčević est né en 1973 à Zagreb, Croatie. Diplômé en mise en scène à l’Académie des Arts dramatiques de Zagreb, il a réalisé de nombreux documentaires et courts-métrages. Son long documentaire Srbenka (2018) a été présélectionné pour les European Film Awards et a remporté plusieurs prix internationaux, dont le Cœur de Sarajevo et le Prix du Public au Sarajevo Film Festival. Son film Gangster of Love (2013) a été un grand succès critique et public en Croatie, présenté notamment à Hot Docs et Karlovy Vary. Il enseigne actuellement à l’Académie des Arts dramatiques de Zagreb.

وُلد نيبويشا سلييبشيفيتش سنة 1973 في زغرب، كرواتيا. تخرّج في الإخراج السينمائي من أكاديمية الفنون الدرامية في زغرب. فيلمه الوثائقي الطويل Srbenka (2018) وصل إلى القائمة القصيرة لجوائز السينما الأوروبية وحصد جوائز عديدة في مهرجانات دولية، منها « قلب سراييفو » وجائزة الجمهور في مهرجان سراييفو السينمائي. أما فيلمه الوثائقي Gangster of Love (2013) فقد نال جائزة الجمهور في Zagreb Dox وعُرض دولياً في Hot Docs وKarlovy Vary. أخرج أيضاً العديد من الوثائقيات التلفزيونية والأفلام القصيرة، ويُدرّس حالياً في أكاديمية الفنون الدرامية بزغرب
