Are You Mostafa?

An Iranian filmmaker sets out to help Mostafa, a man trapped in a shadowy existence without an identity card—a simple document that stands between him and a dignified life. Jobless and invisible to the system, Mostafa battles a web of legal and bureaucratic hurdles. But as the filmmaker delves deeper, hoping to untangle the red tape, it becomes clear that the real barrier isn’t bureaucracy at all. A buried truth—deliberately concealed—holds the key to Mostafa’s past and the reason he was erased in the first place.
